So yesterday,I realized at 9pm, that I had not eaten meat all day.... None! Showed on the scale this morning too! This was not on purpose I was just trying new veggies and new salad and just didn't have meat. This is a strange thing for me because for one ive read and fallen into carbs are BAD THEME and also because I have pushed protein protein protein since I had my surgery, because that's what they tell u to do so that u don't lose muscle mass as you lose your weight. Anyway I did not feel deprived I was actually quite satisfied at each meal yesterday. For breakfast I had my usu protein shake and a western English muffin sprayed with no cal "butter" topped with granular Splenda mixed with cinnamon and toasted in the oven YUM- reminds me of the cinnamon toast my
Mom used to make me when I was little:). For lunch spinach salad with strawberries and slivered almonds and lite raspberry vinagarette yum and a sandwich thin with baby bel sliced and toasted with grape tomato halves & spinach. Dinner spaghetti squash (first time to try) with spaghetti sauce and Parmesan so good and filling and another spinach almond strawberry salad. And a lighter version watergate salad from undressed skeleton in a ice. CReam cone so good. See.... No meat.... Crazy to me! Lol
This wonderful coworker of mine brought CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE today.... I cut an entirely too huge a piece..... So I will eat half take half to mark and share the chocolate wealth. :) can't wait to taste it!
Tomorrow is the first day of school for my little darlings! So exciting! Ty is in 3rd grade and Kylie is starting kindergarten sniffff! Getting too old!
Saturday we had our first football game they played and cheered their little hearts out I was a proud mom!
Skipped my long run day because I didn't want to drag out of bed Saturday morning at 5 to do the 6 miles on the treadmill. So I did it Sunday with the plan to run by the river.... Kinda a shady area as in trees and as in not so safe sometimes but I've always wanted to run there so I took my handy dandy mace and headed out! Got out too late.... Life with a family lol I have decided that I will HAVE. To get out the door before anyone else opens their eyes so that I don't have hot ass runs! Started my run nearly noon- too freaking hot! And I felt it! First 2 miles were great. Then I could feel myself fizzling out. Walked 20 seconds here and there. I've got to get a hydration belt thingy because I left all my water in the car didn't want to carry it... It would have helped. Got to one point and saw some shady ass looking folks pacing around acting like they were caught so I turned around and went back the other direction. Ended up climbing "Jacobs ladder" which is an incredibly hard stairway straight up! It was a challenge but I did it :) after 6 miles! Went home changed did laundry threw the football with Ty watched a touch of tv- I love snapped lol don't them bitches know u can't get away with it?! .....And went back out for my other 4 miles after the 49ers pulled out a win- that makes a happy home ya know! These 4 miles rocked! I was tired but ran the entirety of it! Weather was nice- cool for Texas kinda overcast and much cooler than my noon run! Got it done woohoo! So that was supposed to be Saturdays training and Sunday was supposed to b a rest day so I contemplated taking Monday for a rest but didn't..... Ran 4 miles treadmill at 5 am it was a suckish run wasn't feelin it....slow.... Got it done tho! And thought ok I gotta step it up that's what the dang relay's gonna be like! Except without sleep in my bed lol! 38 days until
My relay by the way :) still can't wait! I know it'll be hard but I can do it I CAN I WILL! I MUST! Had couple too many people tell me I couldn't so WATCH ME SUCKAS! Don't people ever learn that if u tell me I can't do it I will have to show u up?!!
Well it's lunch time so I'm going to go have my spaghetti squash with rotel and Parmesan (already ate my dessert- that chocolate cheesecake was the best I've ever tasted!) hope y'all have a grrrrrreat day!
