Wednesday weigh in.....

So Friday when I signed up for weight watchers I was at 154:(. That sucks but I'm
Not giving up.... I won't sit here and make excuses. I ate too much along with sitting on my ass with my sore knee...I walked but I'm used to running so I think I got this welp I might as well eat, I can't exercise which is THE STUPIDEST attitude to get and I know it but hey I didn't get up there in weight doing the smartest things.

Ice and Ktape are helping this knee woohoo!! It just plain sucks when u get to where you CAN run and u WANT to run and even ENJOY it, but u can't cuz ur knee hurts! It's an ahhhh today that I feel like I can run! So ready! I've brought my clothes to run on my lunch everyday this week but haven't been out yet! Think ill be good to go this evening so ready!

In other news I have decided I want to do a triathlon. No idea where to start but I'm fixing to find out ;) I'm not a strong swimmer or even a swimmer but I was told I can backstroke, doggie paddle anything that'll get me there in the water just not drown so I'm gonna give it a triiii lol yea I'm a dork:). Have to look up how long I have to get my doggie paddle down before the triathlon here...and find a bike I think they might laugh at me if I do it on my beach cruiser type bike lol! If u know anything about this or have any tips I'm all ears ;)

Going to join the y here so I can train in the pool and try out some yoga and other Classes. Haven't done a yoga class before. I like to burn calories lots of them and looking up the calorie burn for a yoga class makes me think nah but I'm gonna try it anyway...... I Need stress relief.

Knee pain a real pain in the a$$!

So my right knee has been hurting since that last half marathon...... And it flat out sucks!!! I ran friday had little twinges here and there prolly shoulda waited.....I ran Sunday focused on running on my forefoot no pain yeah happy dance..... Monday morning ummm ouch right out of bed!! Can't run can't walk without feeling it and it bites! To say the least! I just want to run. Praying it gets better soon. Have an awesome upcoming race.... San Antonio half marathon relay:). Running it with a relay teammate from the capital to coast! It's a rock n roll marathon race and I've always wanted to do one so if my dang knee will please cooperate I will be so thankful!

I joined weight watchers online to try it out. It's going ok. (My mother lost about 80 pounds on weight watchers and I've been on it several times in my life but didn't try, didn't DO IT- so guess what it didn't work). Weigh in on Wednesdays and will be posting my weigh ins to be accountable. I need some accountability:). So how did you my two followers get followers? Just curious:) I appreciate both of your support and kind words:). If you know about weight watchers I was wondering if u usually used up your weekly points that night before you weighed in or if you just let them go? I have 20 activity points left but I weigh in in the morning so I dunno bout using them right now. I really really want to get to 145 and I just keep standing in my own way with my ah screw it I want a cookie attitude. I've tracked every bite this week. I don't foresee a loss tomorrow just because I just started Friday and not running is not helping my confidence. I've still been moving and trying to get something burned but it just isn't running....that might not make since but it does in my head at this moment lol

My daughter text me this picture from my sons phone yesterday and I was shocked! This was almost 6 months after I had my gastric bypass and I thought I looked cute but yuck my hair don't look good like that and I look so fluffy. Our own worst critics much? Lol yes. I. Am.

My handsome :). He was picked by his class for coronation. He's the duke of his class so proud :)

Football/cheer seasons over and will be missed. It was so good to see my son so excited about something:)

Me and my daddy :)

He took me over to the coolest running spot around here and sat n watched me run! He's cool like that! We been keeping each other entertained! This area is beautiful!lemme share a few more pics.....this first one is a gym I thought was so cool it had a balcony with some equipment outside right by the beach where you could do your cardio and watch the waves!
The blues place Lou's blues those poles were so cool:)

Those birds were dying for some fries and I thought dogs begged! They were talkin to me ..... Hey where the hells the food? They don't do fruit I was eating an orange..... Starve then lol

That was a bridge on the run path whew is all I can say there lol

Signed up for a half on Saturday but my dads not feeling great and might be headed back to the hospital so well see..... Had labs yesterday. Prayers appreciated :) thanks for reading have a fantabulous day!

Is a half marathon ever REALLY half marathon?

Ran the beachside half marathon today in vero beach Florida :) it was awesome!! Here's some pics....first bridge we ran over then I was on the second bridge taking a pic of the first one :) view was beautiful!

Race was awesome I felt great the whole time;) rt knee pain started about mile 8 and its sore but other wise I feel great and I'm so happy I pr'd beat my last time Today 2:31:52. Last 2:40:5? This race course was great-now water after it tho I've never been to a race with no water......

And I was noticin I've run 4 half marathons and none have actually been 13.1 miles lol I guess it's hard to plan out a course?.!?! Lol oh well extra calories burned :)

Last two legs :). Feels so good to have accomplished this!! team fun photos:) this has been one of the most challenging awesome fun experiences I have don't in my life! Almost to the finish line! Where there's a beer awaiting me! And an awesome medal!

First leg capital to coast

Pictures worth a thousand words! And this one is worth more than that for me!!! I ran a ten minute mile!!!! I'm patting myself on the back so excuse me for doing so..... I really rocked this first leg of my run!!! So exciting! Some teammates are the best some I've decided I could drive the van away and leave them where they stand but I'm letting stuff roll cuz nuthin and no one is going to ruin this experience for me I won't let them :)

Sept mileage mile high club

I just tallied up my mileage for September and my oh my I ran one hundred and seven point seventeen miles the month of September! 107.17..... Hmmm wow that's a buncha sweat! :). I am really excited about that number! Never ever thought I'd do this runner goal thing!

I've wanted to be a runner since high school I guess. We moved back to Texas to a tiny school and my first friend I made was on the track team so she asked me to join up with her on athletics. ( I'm talking the school was so small all 12 grades on one campus. Everyone had either gym (where they did nothing) or athletics(where u actually got some exercise and I was always trying to lose weight so...). So I asked and they said sure I basically was on the track team but never went to a meet or had an actual event I trained for.... Looking back I'm not exactly sure why not, but I lifted weights and ran/walked with them (slowest one as per all thru school). I just didn't want it bad enuf then is what I'm realizing today.

(Edited to add that the girl who got me to go into athletics quit because she found out she was pregnant! A week after I transferred over lol kinda funny how things work out:)
Tomorrow I set out to run 223 miles with 12 strangers.... Hope that goes ok;) I've trained hard so it should:)

Then I'm off to see my dad:)

Countdown baby!!!

Can't covey the excitement I feel about my upcoming race..... In 4days I will be running 223 miles with my team from Austin Texas to Corpus Christi Texas! Cannot wait! I'm so ready and so proud of all if the dedication and hard work I have put into training for this race! The fact that others will be counting on me has really pushed me in an awesome direction. It has made me realize that I can do this, I can be a runner, I CAN get faster, I can go that extra mile:) is it Friday yet!

I am running my relay and then will hop on a plane and go see my dad in Florida! He's not in good shape health wise-although he is doing better- thank you for all prayers- they WORK! :)

Then the next Saturday I will run a half marathon in Florida! It's by the beach and very scenic according to the site can't wait!!! Goal to beat my last half time of 2hours 40minutes 43seconds~feeling really confident I can beat it:).

I think It may be one of those vacations where u need a vacation after vacation lol:)

On the weight loss front.... I feel a lot like my bulldog in this picture..... Lol I'm so hungry!!!! I ate one thing totally off plan and it snowballed for about 6 days now! I'm back on track today thank goodness! Lots of stresses past couple weeks and I totally caved! But yesterday I did my Sunday thang and cooked up some 15 bean soup for lunches for the week and cut up my fruit for the week which makes a huge difference in staying on plan! it looks like 150 will not be here by Friday but you get what u put in i have put way too much in - MY MOUTH!
One hundred forty five
I will arrive at you on my scale at some point in life! Right now starting this minute forward I will make better choices and get there! I have got to get out of my own way and stop this self sabotaging. If I can do anything.... I can lose another few pounds.
